Taking care of your jewelry means you can admire it each time as if it were the first one. Our gold jewelry can be cleaned with warm water and soap, by hand or using a soft brush. Rinse it well to remove any soap residue before drying it with a soft cloth. Keep your jewelry away from heat sources in order to avoid irreversibly damaging the gemstones. To avoid scratches, keep your gold jewelry from rubbing against other set pieces of jewelry.
Please note: A diamond can only be scratched by another diamond, but it can easily scratch every other metal or stone with which it comes into contact.
If the jewelry is not worn every day, it’s important to store it in its original case after use or, where appropriate, always place it on a soft surface.

EMERALD
Sensitive to temperature changes, avoid exposing your emerald to thermic shocks or extreme heat sources. Emerald is a delicate stone which requires particular care, we therefore ask that you visit a Leonori retail store for any maintenance of your emerald-set jewelry.
RUBY
Clean your ruby with warm water and a soft brush before drying it with a soft cloth.
SAPPHIRE
Clean your sapphire with warm water and a soft brush before drying it with a soft cloth.
TANZANITE
Tanzanite is a delicate stone which is particularly sensitive to impacts, scratches and violent temperature changes. Clean your tanzanite with warm water and a soft brush before drying it with a soft cloth.
ACQUAMARINE
Sensitive to temperature changes, avoid exposing aquamarine to thermic shocks or extreme heat sources. Clean your aquamarine with warm water and a soft brush before drying it with a soft cloth.
MOTHER-OF-PEARL
Mother-of-pearl must not be subjected to intense thermic shocks. Exposing it to cosmetics, such as creams and perfumes, and chemicals, such as detergents and cigarette smoke, may alter its color and iridescence. Clean your mother-of-pearl with a soft cloth.
MALACHITE
Malachite is a delicate stone sensitive to temperature changes. Avoid contact with acidic products. Clean your malachite with a soft cloth.
PEARL
Pearl is an organic material which needs to be worn regularly and is very sensitive to chemical substances. In order to preserve its brilliance, avoid putting it in contact with cosmetics that could alter the shine. Store your pearl jewelry in its original case, away from other pieces of jewelry and covered with a soft cloth in a humid place. Clean with a damp soft cloth.
